The visual art component at Maple Valley Days is Arts Fest! This is a competitive event and is designed to showcase exceptional talent and offer artwork for sale to the public. MVCAC is now accepting submissions into the Juried Art show. Registration deadline: FRIDAY, JUNE 3.
Up to $1,500 is available in purchase awards in the juried exhibit as well as many awards in the form of People's Choice and various local business donations (cash and gift certificates). Also, artists accepted into the juried show will receive complimentary admission to the Artists Reception Gala, including a "plus one"! General public admission will be $10 at the door.

Artist/curator, D. Lisa West

D. Lisa West Art
D. Lisa has received many awards in competitive juried exhibitions. In 2013, she received the CPRS, Inc. purchase award for her work, "Lonely Chair" at the Maple Valley Days Arts Festival. Prior to and since, she has participated in many juried shows with honors as well as her experience in guest curating local exhibitions. D. Lisa is a graduate of the Artists Trust "Edge" program and the Gage Academy of Art, Still Life Atelier program out of Capitol Hill, Seattle.
D. Lisa West is originally from Renton, Washington and currently resides in Seattle.
