This fun-filled, weeklong workshop is specifically designed for developing vocalists and actors (ages 8-18), emphasizing the application of acting techniques to song performance. Participants will explore and perform multiple songs (solos/duets/ensembles) from a variety of Broadway musicals and Disney favorites. Focus is on stage presence, movement, and advancing dramatic action through the song. Participants will also be introduced to the fundamental principles of singing, projection, and breathing. All materials provided. The workshop is held daily from 9am-2pm Monday-Thursday, with a lunch break from 12-12:30pm. (Lunch not provided) *Evening practice time required, as the final performance is completely memorized. Friday's dress rehearsal will be held from 4pm-6pm. The Final Performance Showcase will be held at 6pm, open to the public.
